THIQAH and the King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language signed a memorandum of understanding for joint cooperation in the scope of projects and potential opportunities. The memorandum included various areas of cooperation between the two parties, namely: building, archiving, analyzing and providing linguistic data sources, developing computer applications for building and using electronic dictionaries, developing artificial intelligence tools in understanding and producing the Arabic language, developing computer tools to accelerate research in the field of computing the Arabic language, producing theoretical and applied research in automated processing of the Arabic language, developing and innovating tools and techniques for teaching and learning the Arabic language, and building Arabic language platforms and applications on computers, smart devices and the Internet.

This memorandum aims at achieving the Complex’s main objectives in serving the Arabic language, enabling its use and increasing its Arabic content on the Internet. It will also contribute to achieving the Academy’s strategic mission in building contemporary Arabic language blogs and dictionaries,and accelerating the pace of advanced technical research in various fields of the Arabic language, in a way that enhances the dissemination of knowledge and awareness of the Arabic language, and achieves the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
