THIQAH and the Royal Commission for AlUla have signed a partnership agreement on the sidelines of the Future Investment Initiative Forum. The aim is to facilitate the provision of digital services in AlUla Governorate. The partnership focuses on creating a platform for fully automated electronic services, consolidating services currently distributed across five different platforms.

THIQAH aims to provide the necessary services to achieve the Commission's goals in unifying the processes for obtaining licenses and permits through a single platform. This platform would allow for the issuance of 400 different licenses and permits for several sectors, including the Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Ministry of Culture, and the General Entertainment Authority.

The launch of the 'Tourism and Entertainment Licensing and Permit Portal' of the Royal Commission for AlUla marks the first phase of this project.

The partnership will contribute to the efficiency of license issuance procedures, data management, reporting, and service provision. It will also help meet the requirements of the residents and inhabitants of AlUla, by improving services and the quality of life in the governorate, in line with the goals of AlUla Vision and the targets of Saudi Vision 2030.
