THIQAH signed a MOU with the national blood donation platform "Wateen" at the headquarters of "THIQAH" in Riyadh. The aim of this partnership is to raise awareness about blood donation and highlight the efforts of organizations by documenting their periodic blood donation campaigns. Dr. Talal Aljedaibi, the Deputy CEO of Shared Services, represented "THIQAH," while Mr. Mishari AlMaliki, the CEO of Wateen, represented Wateen.

THIQAH explained that the partnership with the national blood donation platform is part of its corporate social responsibility to participate in the "Blood Banks' Friendly Facilities" program. This program aims to promote blood donation behavior and contribute to meeting the needs of blood banks in the Kingdom.

"Wateen" is one of the initiatives of the Ministry of Health and serves as the official blood donation platform in Saudi Arabia. It was established in 2017 and works as a link between donors and blood banks to meet the needs of patients through voluntary blood donation.
